The owner and founder of “Studio Legale - Stoppani - Law Firm” is Mr. Stefano Stoppani, Avvocato (Italian Barrister) Member of the Verona Bar Association of Verona (since 2004) and authorized to represent at the Court of Cassation and before the Higher Jurisdictions (since 2016), and Technical Consultant at the Court of Verona as a Expert in foreign law – German law (since 2010) and registered as an Arbitrator at various arbitration institutions.


Born in Fucecchio (Florence) in 1975, in 2000 he graduated in Law at the University of Trento (Italy), after having also attended the University of Saarland, Faculty of Law (Universtitaet des Saarlandes, Fachbereich Rechtswissenschaft), as well as the Institute of European Law Studies, Legal Section (Europa-Institut, Sektion Rechswissenschaft), both located in Saarbruecken (Germany).


In 2000, at the University of Trento he discussed his graduation thesis entitled "The Right to Environmental Information in International, EU and German Legal Systems", in comparative administrative law with the supervisor Prof. Daria De Pretis, currently Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Italian Republic.


During the period of study abroad, he collaborated on the translation of legal texts with Prof. Filippo Ranieri, Professor of European Civil Law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Saarland (Lehrstuhl für Europäisches Zivilrecht, Institut für Europäisches Recht).


In 2000, he attended the specialisation course in German law and commercial exchanges between Italy and Germany, at the University of Ferrara, Faculty of Law, Interuniversity Centre for the documentation and study of legal relations between Italy and Germany.


In 2001, he participated in the University Summer School for Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs in South-East Europe, held in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, organised by the Rui Foundation, with the collaboration of the European Association of International Studies (AESI) and with the co-operation of the United Nations Organisation (UN), the Italian Ministry of Defence, the Italian Battle Group and the University of Sarajevo.


Mr. Stefano Stoppani obtained the certificate of knowledge of the German language for the access of foreigners to university education in Germany (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang - SDH), as well as pursuant to the Decree of the President of the Republic no. 752 of 26.07.1976 (Certificate of bilingualism for Trentino Alto-Adige Südtirol).


Mr. Stoppani is a member of various associations of jurists, including international ones and is active in associations aimed at intensifying cultural and commercial relations between Italy, Germany and Austria.
